John's Digital WastelandAnimals--

Web Development

Most people build their first website about their children and their second website about their pets with tons of pictures and gaudy graphics. Ironically, I've been a web professional for years and I'm just now getting around to building out a page about all of our pets. I feel so amateurish about building a site about my pets, but they are a very important part of my life.

My wife and I have many, many pets. They are like children to us and each of them are very special. Some people wonder how we take care of so many animals (current count is 9 plus an aquarium.) If you take into account that an animal requires less time than a child, we're about as busy with our animals as a normal couple would be with 2 kids.

We currently have 4 cats, 2 dogs and 3 birds sharing our house with us. No, we don't want any more and no, we don't want to get rid of any of them. They are all great and wonderful animals and they all make each day unique and interesting.

Each of our pets (past and present) have a page dedicated to each of them. I've tried to keep the "this is my pet cat" theme to a minimum. You can find out about the species, attitude and loveability of each animal. I've even got a few small pictures scattered about here and there.
