I've never owned any fish, but my mother had an aquarium when I was a kid. When I moved in with Kim (my future wife) back in June of 1997, she had an aquarium full of fish. Fish don't live very long (compared to other things) so it seems like we're always restocking the tank with new and interesting creatures that live underwater.

The most interesting fish that we've had were a pair of angel fish that were very sociable. You could walk up to the tank and stick your finger on the surface of the water and the fish would come to the surface and nibble on the tip of your finger. Some other interesting fish that we've had have been a golden ram, a rafael catfish, a marbled sailfin and a betta.
